Playing with fire.
I got burned in many places but the wounds are too fresh to tell apart from my own skin. Soon, it will be unbearable and I'll have to seek refuge from a cooling element. It may ease the pain but the scars will forever remain. A reminder for being a daring fool.
Good to know you're well and braving through. I was in NYC last week, it was terribly cold. So perhaps that played some part.
